CHILDREN’S CHOIR PRACTICE
Children’s Choir Practice will be held at 5:30pm today. This is for all children ages 12 and under. Please meet in the 2-3 yr. old classroom (old nursery). Please see Stephanie Brant, Jennifer Harris, or Misty Cope for any questions.

REVIVAL COTTAGE PRAYER MEETINGS
The 1st pre-revival prayer meeting will be tomorrow, August 30th, at 7pm in the social hall. The next meetings are September 13th and September 27th. Come and join in lifting up our church and Dr. White in prayer.

CHILDREN’S TRIP
The Children’s Council invites all children ages 11 and under to Chuck E. Cheese on September 11th. The cost is $5 per child. Please be at the church at 8am. See any member of the Children’s Council for any questions.

CHURCH POSITIONS
Pine Level has numerous church positions that need to be filled. You can serve in one of these positions to help our church function properly. God calls all of us to be a part of His house. There are sheets listing the open positions in the vestibule. Please pick one up, fill it out, and turn it in to one of the Nominating Committee members.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE MEETING
There will be a meeting of the Nominating Committee next Sunday, Sept. 5th, at 4pm. The new Nominating Committee members are Sherry Reynolds, Dot Cope, Yvette Smith, Jep Smith, Chris Smith and Brandon Corley. Please be in prayer for this committee as they seek to fill the positions in our church.

C.A.R.E.
There will be no C.A.R.E. teams meeting this week. We will resume with C.A.R.E. on September 7th.

FALL REVIVAL
Fall Revival will be held October 3rd-6th, 2010. The guest speaker is Dr. Jerry White. Dr. White is a past president of the SC Baptist Convention, and is currently a pastor in Easley, SC. Please begin praying now for revival.

MEN’S MINISTRIES RETREAT
There is an overnight retreat for all men at Camp Jackson on Sept. 24-25 beginning at 2pm Friday and ending with lunch on Saturday. This will be a time of spiritual fellowship and fun; a time to get to know other men in the churches across the two associations and to grow closer to God. Cost is $20. Bobby Jackson and Ron Barker will be the speakers for this outing. Please see Lonnie Russell for any questions, to sign up and to pay the fee.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
“Operation Christmas Child” will be underway before you know it! Start looking now for those sale items to pack in your boxes. Begin praying for the children who will receive the Christmas boxes. There will be brochures in the vestibule listing the acceptable items, along with instructions on how to pack your box.
